M+Q North America Inc., a division of the M+Q Group, was formed in 2000 and prior to this was known as GQCI (Granite & Quartzite Center Inc.). GQCI had been involved in the block distribution business in North America since 1985.

M+Q North America today is one of the largest importers of blocks and thick slabs in the USA selling in excess of 150,000 cubic feet per annum to mostly the monumental business, but also to the construction industry as well as some sculptors.

M+Q North America has offices in Georgia, USA as well as Quebec, Canada. These two locations also house the stockyards consisting of only granite blocks imported mainly from South Africa, Europe, India and Brazil.

As part of the Finstone Group, a worldwide network of companies, M+Q North America is able to source virtually any material in block or slab form, from marble to travertine, sandstone to limestone and even onyx.
